The uproar over human rights intensified with the case of blogger and free speech activist, Raif Badawi. He was found guilty for insulting Islam in his blog calling for people to openly discuss religion. Badawi was sentenced to one thousand lashes, 10 years in jail and a huge fine. We spoke to a friend of Badawi's family.
